  The Machinery Ring Association (MRA) is the umbrella body representing the interests of the fifteen machinery rings operating across England & Wales as cooperative associations, undertaking a range of activities intended to serve the commercial interests of the farming community and their land management activities.

  Ridings Machinery Ring (RMR) was formed in 1992 by a number of farmers and contractors as an independent co-operative for the agricultural industry in Yorkshire. The aim of the group being to rationalise members labour and machinery input costs.

  BMR, the first Machinery Ring to be formed in the UK in February 1987 by 23 farmers and contractors, has the aim of rationalising labour, machinery and input costs. Currently, there are nearly 660 members.
