Agrosoft UK has developed a unique data transfer facility allowing pig producers recording with the company's WinPig, Easicare and PigPlan systems to automatically have their data included into the RMIF On-farm benchmarking system - Prime Numbers.

Over 60 Agrosoft customers have already elected to have their herd data transferred into the on-line benchmarking system since the beginning of this year. There is no cost associated in the secure transfer process and many producers are already enjoying the benefits. Producers choosing to use this facility do need to provide Agrosoft with written consent, thereby fulfilling the requirements of the data protection act.

Commenting on the company's initiative, managing director Stephen Hall explains; "As a business we are firmly committed to the concept of on-farm benchmarking. By developing this link to the service I believe it allows our customers to enjoy significant benefits immediately. Already pig groups and independent producers are able to identify and compare key financial and production data across the country.
